I created a new journal...
Don't worry, I'll still be updating this one plenty, but the new one is so I can have an easier archive of my fics on LJ. My tags on this journal are horribly insane and fixing them would make links go dead, plus it would take forever to retag every single entry for every single fic so that everything was easily findable...

So, instead what I'm gonna do is create a simple archive at mmarchive were all stories will be properly tagged with fandom, character, pairing, genre, rating, and warnings. I'm not going to post the stories themselves on the archive journal, but I'll have index posts for each story.

Each Archive Entry will contain the standard header, followed by links to each part of the story, then links to any 'bonus' material (fanmixes, art, etc). One shots in the same universe will be grouped together (So "Snapshots" will have and entry, as will "Runaway"). Series of stories (Like "In The Blood") will also have just one entry that links to each story.

The main point of this is so that I can make it easier for people to find the kind fo story they want, rather than randomly searching for something they might like. I know it seems like it's more work to do it this way, and maybe it is, but the thing is, I don't want to leave a bunch of dead links out there, and I know some people have linked my fics on Deliscious using tags.

I also know I could do similiar on Deliscious, but the thing is, Deliscious sometimes runs slow on my computer (meaning it takes forever to load the pages, and the browser will freeze for several seconds during loading) and that will drive me insane. I'll probably also make a similiar index on Deliscious at some point, since so many people use that, but... I like have multiple options... lol...

So... I'm doing this. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe it is way too much work, maybe it's a stupid idea, but... whatever. It's not like I'm making mmarchive a paid account, so it's not a waste of money or anything.
