My Reviews Of New Fall Show Trailers...
Only posting the ones I have at least some interest in, even if it's just liking the cast...

[I'm guessing only one or two of these will last longer than a season]
Title: Last Resort
Network: ABC
Starring: Andre Braugher (Homicide: life On The Streets); Scott Speedman (Felicity, Underworld); Autumn Reeser (The OC); Daisy Betts (Persons Unknown); Robert Patrick (The X-Files, Terminator 2); Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse); Jessy Schram (Falling Skies, Once Upon A Time)
My Thoughts: The USS Colorado is the most powerful nuclear submarine ever built. One day they recieve electronic orders telling them to fire their nuclear weapons at Pakistan, which would basically wipe the entire country off the face of the earth. The captain (Andre Braugher) refuses to follow orders until it's confirmered by an 'authority he recognizes' (implying to me that it's not someone in his chain of command that he speaks to), and another US sub opens fire on them. They then basically go rogue and claim a tropical island as their base of operations, threatening to use their nukes if they have to in order to protect themselves. Ironically, I had/have a similiar storyline arc planned for my SeaQuest continuation webseries (Though I could also use it for a SeaQuest fic tacking place in any of the three canon seasons... lol), so it really does interest me a great bit, even if I didn't love so many members of the cast. It's got survival, a sort of military scifi-ness, and the hint of a apocalypticness that is right up my alley. My mom is looking forward to it as well. But. because of it's nature, ratings could either be great or horrible. Since we're both excited about it, my guess is it'll be lucky to last a season, but I am REALLY hoping it's as good as it looks and it lasts many seasons...

Title: Nashville
Network: ABC
Starring: Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, American Horror Story); Hayden Panetierre (Heroes); Jonathan Jackson (General Hospital, Sarah Connor Chronicles)
My Thoughts: Conniue Britton plays a country singer who's star is fading, and her record company wants her to tour with a new young, 'sexy' singer, Hayden Panetierre, who's a bitch and a half. All three of the people i lsited in 'starring' are ones I love and adore, and just seeing Jonathan Jackson back on TV is something I'm thrilled about... Hayden's character looks like the type I'm gonna love to hate... Don't really have a more in depth analysis of my thoughts on it, but I think it stands a decent chance of surviving at least one full season, at least if they keep Hayden in the low cut tops, short skirts, and everything tight outfits to draw in male viewers, and keep Connie Britton being kick ass to draw in the women... I'm looking forward to it, though, and hope it lasts at least a full season.

Title: Malibu County
Network: ABC
Starring: Reba McEntire (Reba); Lily Tomlin (If you don't know her... I'm horrified... lol); Carmen Rue (Popular, Carmen)
My Thoughts: Reba discovers her Country Music star husband is cheating on her and leaves his ass, moving to Malibu with their kids and her mother (Tomlin), the latter of whom quickly falls in love with marijuana lollipops... yes, really. I don't know... this could be cute or it could get old fast. I'd say it'll be lucky to last a year.

Title: 666 Park Avenue
Network: ABC
Starring: Terry O'Quinn (Lost, Hawaii 5-0); Vanessa Williams (Desperate Housewives); Dave Annable (Brothers & Sisters); Rachael Taylor (Charlie's Angels 2011, Grey's Anatomy); Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill); Mercedes Masohn (The Finder)
My Thoughts: A young couple moves into a beautiful old apartment building to be it's managers, but soon it becomes clear that something VERY sinister is going on in the building, and that while people are having their deepest desire given to them, it seems to come at a very high cost. It could be very interesting, or again it could be completely horrible and cliche. It has a good cast, but... that doesn't mean much nowadays.

Title: Revolution
Network: NBC
Starring: Giancarlo Esposito (Homicide: Life On The Streets, Once Upon A Time); Billy Burke (Twilight Saga, ), Andrea Roth (Ringer, Blue Bloods)
My Thoughts: One day all forms of artificial energy have disappeared and never come back (even batteries no longer work!). From the trailer, it opens with the event happening, and then moves to 15 years later with a much changer world based around pure and simple survival. A young woman travels to Chicago to find her uncle so he'll help her save her brother, who's been captured by an evil militia. There's hints that someone caused the loss of all energy forms, rather than it being a natural event.

Title: Partners
Network: CBS
Starring: David Krumholtz (Numb3rs); Michael Urie (Ugly Betty); Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill); Brandon Routh (Superman Returns)
My Thoughts: Krumholtz and Urie play best friends (one gay, one straight) who work together as well. Sophia plays Krumholtz's girlfriend, Routh plays Urie's boyfriend. It looks a little ridiculous, and might suck entirely, but I'm rooting for it because I ADORE David Krumholtz and Sophia Bush...

Title: Elementary
Network: CBS
Starring: Johnny Lee Miller (Hackers, Eli Stone); Lucy Lui (Southland)
My Thoughts: Sherlock Holmes adaption set in modern day New York City, with a female, asian, Watson. It's another case of could be totally awesome or so incredibly horrible. I plan on watching it, at least the premiere annyway, but... I only give it a 50% chance of lasting even a full season. It looks heavy on the comedy side of things, though of course with plenty of murder and mayhem to be solved...

Title: Arrow
Network: CW
Starring: Stephen Amell (Tons of TV guest star rolls and soem TV Movies); Willa Holland (The OC, Gossip Girl); Katie Cassidy (Supernatural, Harper's Island, Gossip Girl);
My Thoughts: A series about The Green Arrow... Not the version of the character from Smallville, though, a new version. I'm excited about this mostly because of Willa Holland, since I truly adore her.

Title: Beauty And The Beast
Network: CW
Starring: Kristin Kreuk (Smallville); Jay Ryan (Terra Nova, legend of The Seeker)
My Thoughts: A remake of the 80's show that starred Linda Hamilton and Ron Pearlman as the title characters. I'm... not sure what to make of this... I LOVE KK, but... the description I found says that Vincent (Beast) turns into a monster when he gets angry, as in he physically changes into a monster... sounds a lot more like 'The Incredible Hulk' than 'Beauty And The Beast', and makes me wary... I may or may not watch the premiere, but I'm not that excited because of the odd Hulk-ness of the changing into a beast thing... lol

Okay, there you go! Let me know what you guys think... All of these have trailers available on youtube, and I may go back and add some of them in at some point, but... I'm lazy right now... lol

I'm looking forward to Elementary. I like the leads and their twist is interesting. I'm going to either love it or hate it.
