Crazy Fic Idea?
So, while waiting for the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy to get put online (I discovered much to my annoyance that we don't get FX! hoq much does THAT suck!), I decided to watch an ep or two of 'Young Americans', the Dawson's Creek Spin-Off (One of the leads in YA had appeared at the end of S3 of DC as an old friend of Pacey, Joey, and Dawson's who visited for awhile and wound up dating Andie...) and stared, among others, Ian Somerhalder (Damon from Vampire Diaries) and a couple other people who later become better known Matt Czuchry (Logan on Gilmore Girls), Kate Bosworth (Lois Lane in Superman Returns), and Charlie Hunnam (Jax on Sons of Anarachy) were all in it.

Anyway, I had an idea about a fic taking the teens from all my favorite teen centered fandoms (The OC, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, maybe a couple others) and make them students at a boarding school (with some of them as 'townies')...

Ryan's the kid who grew up in the town, and is now attending the school on scholarship. Haley, Peyton, Lucas, and Dan are his townie friends. Best friends Marissa and Serena rule the girl's half of the school because the headmaster, Caleb Nichols, is Serena's maternal grandfather and Marissa's stepfather. Brooke, Summer, and Blair are also in their core group of friends...

I'm tempted to also cross it over with Sons of Anarchy (since that's the reason I wound up watching YA lol), maybe make it a variation on my other The OC/SoA crossover, with Ryan being Gemma's son and Jax's brother... but maybe without the motorcycle gang aspect, they're just rough around the edges auto repair shop owners... lol... and Gemma isn't all that happy about Ryan going to the school because she has some history with Caleb Nichols and his daughters... and not what you think... lol

Would anyone be interested in reading it if I wrote it? I'm thinking it could be so good... angsty and awesome...

I'll only know about half the people but I'd read it. Young Americans was a great short show
